The Early School is a nonprofit organization. Your donations, along with our annual Big Chill fundraiser, provide the funding for the tuition assistance many families need.

Dear Friends:

I have some exciting news. For the first time ever, we are about to embark on a major renovation of our beloved preschool building. Through the efforts of our grant writing team, we’ve raised some of the money necessary for the renovation -- but we still need to raise about $200,000 more. I am writing to ask for your help in reaching this goal.Let me share with you some of what is planned for the renovation:

•The addition of a new deck and bridge opening the preschool classrooms directly to the Big Playground

•The addition of a new bathroom located near the Big Playground

•The replacement of the roof and the addition of a beautiful floor

•The renovation of the kitchen so that it conforms with Departmentof Health licensing requirements for food preparation

•The improvement of the structural stability of the building’s post and pier construction

•The addition of features that will make the building cooler and more energy efficient

•The addition of features to ensure the preschool building complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act

These changes help us in bringing our facilities up to code, while creating a fresh environment with wonderful flow through the Sky and Lokahi rooms.We also will create a beautiful friendship path composed of bricks that include inscriptions of up to three lines of 16 spaces each. The friendship path will lead from the gate to the preschool’s doors and to the Big Playground. All who donate $250 or more to the preschool renovation will have their own unique brick placed in the friendship path.

Please help us make a difference and leave a lasting legacy at The EarlySchool. 100% of your donation will be used to renovate the preschool building so that children will continue to discover, dream, learn, grow and cherish childhood memories of their early school days for many years to come.
